Absolutely. Prospective members are welcome to come in for a tour at their convenience, no appointment necessary.

Single membership: $99/month 

Family membership: $149/month (up to 4 people) 

Membership includes access to open gym, all group fitness classes, and all gym facilities, including saunas.

No contracts. Membership is month-to-month. New members pay the first and last month's dues at signing, along with a one-time enrollment fee.

Cancellation requires 30 days' written notice by email. There are no cancellation fees.

Yes. You may freeze your membership for 1 month or longer for travel, injury, illness, or extended absence. A $10 per month freeze fee applies.

No. Our membership is small and exclusive, and we do not offer additional discounts.

Yes. We offer corporate rates for businesses enrolling 4 or more employees, where membership is paid by the company (not by each individual employee). Contact us for details. 

No. We do not accept new memberships through any health insurance programs.

Prospective members must be at least 18 years old to join. All persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult — no exceptions.

Shape-Up is located at 2101 E. Coast Highway in Corona del Mar, at the intersection of PCH and Avocado Avenue. Free parking is available on the upper level of the parking structure. Take the outdoor stairwell down to the lower level, and enter through the double sliding doors.

Yes. The club is ADA-accessible, with elevator access from the parking structure.

Monday–Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

Shape-Up is closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. 

Yes. Members are welcome to take as many classes as they like at no additional cost. 

All classes are 50 minutes in length, except for Dirty 30, which is a focused 30-minute H.I.I.T. class.

No sign-up required. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before class starts to allow time for setup. Late arrivals will not be permitted into class.

Yes. All of our instructors are certified and highly qualified in their disciplines.

Just yourself and water. Mats and towels are provided.

Yes. Our personal trainers are here to help you achieve your health and fitness goals with programming tailored to your age, ability, and objectives. Trainers will provide an InBody body composition analysis and a full fitness assessment to help establish your baseline and track your progress over time.

All of our trainers are certified and highly qualified. We specialize in serving active adults and members over 50, including post-rehabilitation, cardiac recovery, strength and mobility, and long-term fitness programming for healthy aging.

We offer single (one-on-one) and dual (two-person) personal training sessions.

Yes. Day-use lockers are included with membership at no additional cost. Our lockers use a built-in keypad, so there is no need to bring your own lock. We do not offer permanent or long-term locker rentals.

Yes. The men's locker room features a large Finnish sauna, and the women's locker room features a large Far Infrared sauna. Women's spa robes are available for your convenience.

Yes. Our showers are supplied with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Shower towels are also provided.

Yes. We provide highly filtered water at our refill station.

No, we do not have a pool, cold plunge, or steam room.

We feature top-of-the-line cardio and strength equipment: 

Cardio: Matrix Onyx treadmills, ellipticals, upright and recumbent bikes, and step climbers; FreeMotion treadmills and upright bikes; upper body ergometer, rower, Octane Lateral, and Octane Ride. All cardio equipment features large personal screens. 

Strength: A full line of weight-training machines (both indoor and in our outdoor training area), Smith rack, power rack, Olympic bench press, dumbbells from 2 to 110 lbs, flat/incline/decline benches, and a variety of pulley stations. Stretch & Recovery: Dedicated stretch room with foam rollers, stability balls, TRX straps, a stretch table, and mats. Spa: Large Far Infrared sauna in the women's locker room and a large Finnish sauna in the men's.

Yes. New members receive an InBody body composition evaluation along with a personalized exercise program and equipment orientation.

Yes. We partner with Metagenics, a leading practitioner-grade supplement company, and members receive a discount on Metagenics products. Please contact us for more information.

Yes. A guest's first visit is complimentary. After that, guests are welcome with a $25 day pass, or they can purchase a week or month pass.

We offer a complimentary day pass for prospective members and guests of current members. Out-of-town visitors and short-term residents can purchase temporary passes for the duration of their stay.

Athletic shoes and appropriate workout attire are required.

Yes, phones are allowed on the floor. We ask that members be courteous to others when taking calls.

No food is permitted on the workout floor. Water and sports drinks are welcome.

We strongly recommend discussing any new exercise program and the use of gym facilities with your physician before getting started, especially if you have any existing medical conditions.

Spray disinfectant bottles and yellow hand towels are available throughout the club for members to wipe down equipment before and after use. Our staff also performs regular cleaning throughout the day.

Yes. We have an AED (automated external defibrillator) on the premises, and our staff is certified in its use — a reflection of our long-standing commitment to member safety and cardiac health.
